Please read these terms before you book. By paying a deposit or confirming a booking, you agree to them.
Travel with Jade is a trading name of Big Bad World By Jade Pty Ltd (ABN 83 629 134 498), an accredited member of ATIA, the Australian Travel Industry Association. In these terms, "we" and "us" means Travel with Jade.
We act as an agent for airlines, hotels, tour and cruise operators, insurers and other travel suppliers. Your booking is also subject to each supplier's own terms and conditions, which we will give you or point you to before you book.
All prices are subject to availability and can change without notice until your booking is paid in full. Price changes can be caused by currency movements, fuel surcharges, taxes and other supplier increases outside our control. A price is only guaranteed once it is paid in full.
Deposits vary by supplier and are shown on your quote. Your final balance is due 90 days before departure unless your quote says otherwise. If a payment is not received by its due date, your booking may be cancelled and cancellation fees may apply.
Cancellation and change conditions vary by supplier and are set out in the terms provided at the time of booking. Some air tickets and other bookings are non-refundable. Where a refund is due, we will pass it on once we receive the money from the supplier.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance, taken out when you pay your deposit. Without insurance, you are personally liable for any medical and associated costs while travelling. Please read and understand your insurer's Product Disclosure Statement.
Every traveller needs a passport valid for at least six months beyond the end of the trip, and some countries require longer. Permanent residents travelling on a foreign passport need a Resident Return Visa to re-enter Australia. It is your responsibility to hold the right visas and travel authorities, and to give us your full name exactly as it appears on your passport. Incorrect names can incur change or cancellation fees. Some destinations require vaccinations, so please speak to your doctor before you travel.
Please check all your travel documents carefully, including names, dates and times, and tell us straight away if anything is wrong. Airlines can change their schedules, so check your flight times at least 24 hours before each departure.
If a natural disaster or other emergency is reported in a country you are visiting, you authorise us to share your itinerary and contact details with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your travel arrangements or from the acts or omissions of suppliers. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Our website links to other websites, such as supplier booking pages. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content or practices.
We protect your personal information as set out in our Privacy policy. If something goes wrong, please see our Complaints policy, which also explains your options under the ATIA accreditation scheme.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you book applies to your booking.
